1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the services of Ritu Mahajan Makeovers ("we," "us," "our," "the Studio"), whether through our website, mobile application, in-studio booking, or any other channel, you ("the Client," "you," "your") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Ritu Mahajan Makeovers, a proprietorship firm operating under the laws of India, with its principal place of business at Mukerian, District Hoshiarpur, Punjab, India.
2. Services Offered
The Studio provides professional beauty and makeup services including but not limited to:
- Bridal makeup packages (HD, Signature, Airbrush)
- Party and occasion makeup
- Hairstyling services
- Pre-bridal skin care packages
- Salon services (facials, waxing, threading, manicure, pedicure)
- Nail art and extensions
- Personal makeup coaching and workshops
Specific service descriptions, durations, and inclusions are detailed on our website and service menu. The Studio reserves the right to modify, discontinue, or introduce new services at any time without prior notice.
3. Booking and Appointments
3.1 Booking Methods
Appointments can be made through our website booking system, by phone, via WhatsApp, or in person at either studio location. Online bookings require a valid email address and mobile number for confirmation.
3.2 Booking Confirmation
A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of a confirmation message (SMS, email, or WhatsApp) containing a booking reference number. The Studio reserves the right to refuse or cancel any booking at its discretion, including but not limited to scheduling conflicts, artist unavailability, or force majeure events.
3.3 Deposit and Advance Payment
For bridal bookings and packages exceeding ₹10,000, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the estimated total is required at the time of booking to secure the date and artist. The deposit will be adjusted against the final bill. For party makeup and other services, full payment may be required in advance at the Studio's discretion.
3.4 Client Responsibilities
- Arrive on time for your scheduled appointment
- Provide accurate information regarding allergies, skin conditions, or medical concerns
- Bring reference images if you have a specific look in mind
- Ensure hair is clean and dry (unless otherwise instructed) for hairstyling services
- Remove contact lenses before eye makeup application
4. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
4.1 General Appointments
- More than 48 hours notice: Full refund of deposit/advance or free rescheduling
- 24–48 hours notice: 50% of deposit/advance forfeited; rescheduling permitted with ₹500 fee
- Less than 24 hours notice: 100% of deposit/advance forfeited; rescheduling at Studio's discretion with ₹1,000 fee
4.2 Bridal Bookings
- More than 60 days before wedding date: 50% of deposit refunded
- 30–60 days before wedding date: Deposit forfeited; no refund
- Less than 30 days before wedding date: 100% of total package cost due
4.3 Rescheduling
Rescheduling is subject to artist and studio availability. A maximum of two reschedules are permitted per booking. Additional reschedules may incur fees. Bridal date changes within 30 days of the wedding are treated as cancellations.
4.4 No-Show Policy
Failure to arrive within 15 minutes of the scheduled appointment time without prior communication constitutes a no-show. The full service charge will be levied, and any deposit/advance will be forfeited. For bridal parties, the Studio will wait up to 30 minutes before considering it a no-show.
5. Pricing and Payment
5.1 Prices
All prices displayed on the website or quoted are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable GST. Prices are subject to change without prior notice. The price confirmed at the time of booking will be honored for that specific appointment.
5.2 Additional Charges
The following may incur additional charges: extra services requested on the day, additional hair accessories, false lashes beyond those included, travel charges for on-location services (beyond 10 km radius), early morning surcharge (before 7:00 AM), and trial sessions not included in the package.
5.3 Payment Methods
We accept cash, UPI (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm), credit/debit cards, and bank transfers. Full payment is due on or before the day of service. For on-location bridal services, 100% payment must be cleared before the artist departs for the venue.
5.4 Refunds
Refunds are processed per the Cancellation Policy (Section 4). Refunds, when applicable, are issued within 7–10 business days to the original payment method. Service dissatisfaction must be communicated within 2 hours of service completion for consideration.
6. On-Location Services
For services rendered at client-specified venues (hotels, homes, banquet halls, etc.):
- Adequate lighting, clean workspace, and access to electricity and water must be provided
- Parking for the artist's vehicle must be arranged at the venue
- Meals/refreshments for the artist and assistant for sessions exceeding 4 hours
- Travel charges apply beyond 10 km from the nearest studio (₹25/km)
- The Studio is not liable for venue restrictions, power outages, or venue staff interference
- Client is responsible for obtaining any venue permissions required for external vendors
7. Health, Safety, and Allergies
The Studio uses professional-grade, hypoallergenic products from reputable brands. However:
- Clients must disclose all known allergies, skin sensitivities, and medical conditions prior to service
- A patch test is recommended 48 hours before any new chemical service (hair color, keratin, etc.)
- The Studio is not liable for allergic reactions to products when allergies were not disclosed
- Clients with active skin infections, open wounds, or contagious conditions may be refused service
- Pregnant clients should consult their physician before chemical treatments
8. Intellectual Property
All photographs, videos, makeup designs, hairstyles, and creative work produced by the Studio's artists remain the intellectual property of Ritu Mahajan Makeovers. The Studio may use images of your completed look for marketing, portfolio, social media, and advertising purposes unless you explicitly opt out in writing at the time of booking.
Clients may share their own photos on personal social media. Commercial use of Studio-created looks (editorial, advertising, resale) requires written permission and may involve licensing fees.
